The industrial applications of RasaAndishan cameras range from steel and pipe production lines to research laboratories. On this page each industry has its own section. For each application we link the product page, the project report and the related tutorial.
Industrial camera applications at a glance
In the steel and pipe industry, the weld seam tracking system keeps the nozzle on the pipe seam, and the flying saw controller cuts the pipe while it moves. In the tyre industry, line scan cameras measure tyre width. The thermal camera reads the temperature of molten glass in the furnace. In sport, the photo finish system decides the winner of a race.
Area scan cameras work in licence plate reading and traffic. Colour line scan cameras sort agricultural produce. In the laboratory, our cameras and detectors are used in spectroscopy and particle image velocimetry (PIV).
