Naming of RasaAndishan CCD boards

rahni

RasaAndishan has so far designed more than 20 PCB versions for its CCD boards. These boards are CCD detectors or drivers. Some versions were for research only. The list below shows the CCD board versions that have been sold so far.

How RasaAndishan names its CCD boards

We print a mark on the PCB of every RasaAndishan CCD driver. This mark identifies the board version. The marks of the boards sold so far are:

  • LSC-V5-3C-15M-16B
  • CAM-V10-1C-15M-16B
  • CAM-V11-1C-15M-16B
  • LSC-V11-3C-15M-16B
  • LSC-V12-1C-15M-16B
  • LSC-V13-3C-15M-16B
  • CAM-V14-1C-40M-12B
  • CAM-V15.3-U3
  • CAM-V15.4-U3
  • LSC-V16-1C-15M-16B
  • Teif-0511-9835-80-99
  • ST-ISD-V17-3C-15M-16B

If your board carries one of these marks, you will need it to get support. You will find each CCD board's mark on the board's own PCB. The images below show two of these boards.

Why does the code on a CCD card matter?

Every RasaAndishan card has a code. The code is printed on the card's PCB and identifies its version. The company uses this code for future support. When you call for support, our expert identifies your card by this code. So write down the code on your card before you call.

These cards are in fact linear detectors, or line drivers. The card's circuit converts the analog pixels of the CCD sensor, into digital data. It then applies exposure time, signal gain and digital filters. Finally, it sends the data to the computer for display.

There are many versions. Versions that were only used for research are not in this list. So if your card's code is in the list above, your card is one of the versions that were sold. The support expert uses this code to find the exact circuit of your card. This way you get more precise guidance.

RasaAndishan Mowj Pardaz is one of the first makers of linear detector cards in Iran. These cards are used in spectroscopy, scanners, barcode readers, and thickness and distance measurement systems. Systems that measure speed, angle, color and vibration also use them. To learn about the different types, see the Linear CCD detector.
