A line scan camera images only one line. It is very fast and better suited to image processing of moving objects. An area scan camera builds a complete image of its field of view in every frame. These cameras are used in particle image velocimetry, license plate reading and machine vision. Line scan cameras also have a wide range of applications. Barcode readers, scanners, spectroscopy, and thickness and speed measurement systems all use them.
The weld seam tracking system is used in plants that make large-diameter water and gas pipes. It keeps the welding nozzle exactly in the middle of the seam. Car manufacturing and steel building construction use it too. The system has been built in three versions. The flying shear control system cuts a product that keeps moving during the cut. In this system, the saw carriage matches the speed of the product. The RA-FSC-9162 controller is fully locally developed and does not depend on a PLC or a computer.
The RasaAndishan thermal camera reads temperatures from 20 to 2500 °C. It is used in metal smelting, cement production and furnace monitoring. Photo finish is another RasaAndishan product.
