Scanner camera

rahni

We designed the RA-LSC-3753 scanner camera for spectroscopy. In Dey 1394 (January 2016) RasaAndishan released an upgraded version of this scanner camera. This scanner camera sees from 300 to 1100 nm.

What features does this scanner camera have?

The RA-LSC-3753 is a 2088-pixel monochrome line scan camera. Its pixels are square and 14 μm in size. The sensor's active length is 29.232 mm. Its spectral response spans 300 to 1100 nm. So the camera sees from ultraviolet to near infrared.

In spectroscopy, you can use this sensor as a 2088-channel detector. Its exposure goes up to 35.5 minutes. That gives you enough time to capture weak spectral lines. The output is digitized with a 16-bit converter. Besides USB, the camera also has an analog output.

In width measurement with a 146 mm field of view, each pixel sees 70 μm of the object. In this setup, you measure the width 940 times per second. The 16-bit converter records the edge slope in 65,536 levels. That is why the software can locate the edge with sub-pixel accuracy. For thickness measurement, place the object between a backlight and the camera. The thickness is calculated from the length of the object's shadow on the sensor.

RasaAndishan offers free consultation for its line scan cameras. The cameras come with a three-year unconditional warranty. Our technical team will also help you set the camera up in your own software. The Flow Graph Edit feature in our software lets you change the data processing chain however you like.

This camera also suits object scanning, thickness measurement and measuring the width of objects on a conveyor belt. Its line rate reaches 940 lines per second.
