RA-LSC-0553 line scan camera completed
For many image processing jobs, the Line Scanning technique is more efficient than Area Scanning. In Line Scanning the camera reads one line at a time. The software places these lines side by side and builds the full image.
RasaAndishan completed the RA-LSC-0553 line scan camera in late Esfand 1394 (March 2016). We designed it for jobs that need high resolution with good speed and dynamic range. This camera is built for Line Scanning on conveyors and production lines.

See the full technical specifications on the RA-LSC-0553 line scan camera page. All models are listed in the line scan camera section.
Unlike an area scan camera, a line scan camera images only one line at a time. As the object passes the camera, these lines are placed side by side. The result is a high-resolution 2D image. That is why the object and the camera must move relative to each other.
The RA-LSC-0553 is a 5150-pixel monochrome line scan camera. Its pixels are 7 × 7 μm and are arranged over a length of 36.05 mm. The camera's spectral response starts at 350 nm and runs up to 900 nm. So you can also inspect with blue and near-ultraviolet light. The camera output is 16-bit. Its line rate reaches 951.5 lines per second.
We recommend the RA-LSC-0553 for precise width measurement and for thickness measurement of sheet and strip. Surface scanning, defect inspection, and document and film scanning are also among its uses. You can set the exposure time from 1051 μs to 14.5 minutes in 1 μs steps.
RasaAndishan is one of the first manufacturers of line scan cameras in Iran. Its line scan cameras have been built around CCDs from leading brands such as Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, Hamamatsu and NEC. Free consultation and a three-year unconditional warranty come with these cameras. Our services also include help setting the camera up in your own software.
The spectral response and parametric specifications are on the 5150-pixel line scan camera, model RA-LSC-0553 page. To learn the principles of this technology, you can read the Line scan camera article on Wikipedia.
